How’s your Saturday going? We are entertaining my parents this afternoon/evening. I baked them an upside down rhubarb cake with rhubarb from the garden. (I pushed it a bit too hard when turning it upside down so half of the cake is a bit squashed. Let’s say it looks rustic.) Yet another skincare empty! I have been using this Kiehl’s Dermatologist Solutions Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate since spring. (One pump is enough for both eyes, I think. So a little goes a long way.) It has 10,5% of ascorbic acid - which is a high amount of the right type of vitamin C and scientifically proven to have anti-ageing benefits - and promises to brighten the eye area and diminish wrinkles and crows feet. I liked its light texture. It is packed with silicones, which meant concealer went over it like a dream. I do feel like the tiny wrinkles around my eyes have not become deeper and my dark circles have not become darker. Overall, I really liked this eye cream. You can use it on the upper eyelid too.
