Graag smeren doet smeren, vandaar dat de beautyindustrie de voorbije jaren zo hard aan de “sensorialiteit” van haar zonneproducten werkte. “Als je een zonnecrème niet graag smeert, ga je dat niet vaak genoeg doen en ook niet in een voldoende dikke laag,” aldus Dr. Olivier Doucet, Vice-President R&D bij Coty dat ondermeer de luxueuze zonbescherming van Lancaster maakt. Dus zijn er intussen crèmes, lotions, sprays, olies en waters met texturen die je niet voelt en/of ziet zitten en die je huid optimaal helpen beschermen tegen de zon. Zoals deze vier nieuwkomers.
(Geen enkel van deze producten is vrij van parfum, de formule van La Roche-Posay is volgens het merk hypoallergeen. In principe bevatten het parfum en de rest van de formule dus geen allergene bestanddelen.)
Ik wil een zonnecrème die niet extra zweterig aanvoelt op hete dagen: Expert Sun Protector Face & Body Lotion SPF50+ van Shiseido, € 41,50.
Een zonnemelk in een tube, wat is daar nu revolutionair aan? Wel, Shiseido maakt clevere hightech zonbescherming. Dankzij zijn SynchroShield werken de zonnefilters in deze lotion nog efficiënter wanneer je huid nat wordt en/of wanneer de temperatuur stijgt, stel bij een frisse duik op een hete dag. De formule hydrateert de huid bovendien en bevat anti-ageingbestanddelen die de gevolgen van uv – vlekjes, rimpels, huidverslapping – moeten verminderen.
Ik wil mijn zonbescherming niet op mijn huid voelen zitten: Sun Beauty Sun Protective Water SPF30 van Lancaster, € 32,90.
Het heeft eventjes geduurd voor Lancaster met zijn versie van een beschermend zonnewater kwam, maar die is er nu én is ook beschikbaar met een SPF50. Goed schudden voor gebruik (de twee fases moeten perfect gemengd zijn) en je kan genieten van een formule die je niet voelt zitten, naar vakantie geurt (het merk werkt hard aan zijn parfums omdat die bescherming smeren nog aangenamer moeten maken) en beschermt tegen UVA, UVB, infrarood en zichtbaar licht. (Zoals altijd bij Lancaster.)
Ik heb een zongevoelige huid, maar wil een vlot smerende, onzichtbare zonnecrème: Anthelios 50+ Spray Invisible van La Roche-Posay, € 22,50.
Je hebt neiging tot zonneallergie? Dan is deze spray met shakatechnologie (ook goed schudden voor gebruik dus) een optie. De formule is water-, zweet- en zandbestendig, voelt niet vet aan, zie je niet zitten en mag op het lichaam en het gezicht worden gebruikt. Dankzij de intelligente polymeertechnologie vormt ze homogene film op de huid die blijft zitten. Ze helpt ook de gevolgen van infraroodstraling en vervuiling verminderen.
Ik haat dat zand en zonnecrème samenkoeken op mijn huid: Sensitive Protect Dry Touch Sun Gel-Crème SPF30 van Eucerin, € 23.
Eucerin komt met een Dry Touch-formule die niet plakt of vet aanvoelt op de huid. Die is, net als die van La Roche-Posay, water-, zweet- en zandbestendig en wordt goed verdragen door gevoelige en vettere huidtypes en acnehuiden. De antioxidant licochalcone A moet vrije radicalen van uv-licht en hoog energetisch zichtbaar licht tegengaan.

What’s so revolutionary about a sun lotion in a tube? Well, Shiseido produces clever hightech sunscreen. Thanks to its SynchroShield, the sun protection filters work even more efficiently when your skin gets wet and/or when the temperatures are rising, say, when you take a dive on a very hot day. The formula hydrates and contains anti-ageing ingredients to tackle the damages caused by UV.
I want a sunscreen that I do not feel at all: Sun Beauty Sun Protective Water SPF30 by Lancaster, 32,90 €.
It took Lancaster a while to come with its own version of a protective sun water but here it is and it is available with an SPF50 too. You have to shake it well so both parts of the formula get mixed perfectly. You do not feel the formula on your skin. It smells like holidays (the brand works hard on the fragrance of its sunscreens as it makes using sunscreen even nicer) and protects against UVA, UVB, infrared and daily light. (As do all sunscreens of the brand.)
I am very sensitive to sunlight but still want a sunscreen with a light and airy texture that is not sticky: Anthelios 50+ Spray Invisible by La Roche-Posay, 22,50 €.
Do you have sun allergy-prone skin? This shaka spray might be what you are looking for. (You have to shake it well before using.) The formula is water, sweat and sand proof, does not feel greasy, is invisible and can be used on your body and face. It also helps tackle the consequences of infrared light and pollution.
I hate it when sand and sunscreen form a yucky layer on my skin: Sensitive Protect Dry Touch Sun Gel-Crème SPF30 by Eucerin, 23 €.
Eucerin comes with a Dry Touch formula that does not feel sticky or oily. It is water, sweat and sand proof (just like La Roche-Posay’s) and is well tolerated by sensitive and more oily skin types and people with acne. The antioxidant licochalcone A has to fight free radicals, caused by UV and high energetic visible light.
